District One (Blackwater):

Auto Theft– The victim called dispatch to report her vehicle had been taken without permission. Upon the Officers arrival contact was made with the victim who stated the vehicle had been loaned to a sibling.  While the vehicle was at a family’s residence the vehicle was taken without the sibling’s knowledge. The vehicle was entered into NCIC (National Crime Information Center) as stolen. Later during the day the vehicle was located abandoned and returned to the family. 

Status:  Under Investigation

 

Theft– The victim reported that the suspect took their cell phone and a wallet without permission. Upon making contact with the suspect it was discovered he was in possession of the cell phone but denied taking a wallet. The wallet was later located at the place of residence and the cell phone was returned. 

Status: Charges Forwarded

 

District Two (Sacaton Flats): 

No incidents involving Part 1 Crime

 

District Three (Sacaton):

Aggravated Assault – The suspect was arrested for assaulting the victim, her mother, by punching her in the face and using two knives to cause lacerations. At the conclusion of the physical altercation, the suspect threatened the victim by stating she was going to have someone shoot up the house. The suspect was arrested on scene and booked into DRS. 

Status: Suspect was arrested 

 

 

District Four (Stotonic):

Aggravated Assault – The suspect was arrested for striking one of two victims in the head with a shovel causing a laceration to the head area. The second victim was in a physical altercation with the suspect causing several bumps to their face. During the physical altercation, the second victim sustained a broken left clavicle. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for further medical treatment. The suspect was booked into DRS. 

Status: Suspect was arrested

 

District Four (Lone Butte Area): 

Theft – The victim reported that she asked the suspect she was conversing with to watch her purse while she went to the bar. Shortly after stepping away the suspect walked off with the purse. Contact was made with the suspect who denied taking the purse. Attempts were made to locate the purse in the restroom where the suspect is believed to have gone. The victim stated there was nothing of value in the purse. 

Status:  Closed

 

Theft – Officers were dispatched to Love’s Truck Stop in reference to a shoplifting. The investigation revealed the suspect took a black jacket from the clothing section, went into the men’s restroom carrying the merchandise, and then walked out wearing the jacket. 

 

Theft– While at the Lone Butte Casino, a theft investigation was conducted. Investigation revealed the victim left his ticket in the slot machine accidentally, containing $1,400.00. The suspect discovered the ticket and immediately cashed the ticket and left casino property. The victim did not wish to press charges and only requested the money be returned. Only $700.00 was located on the suspect’s person and returned to the victim.

Theft – The victim reported while at Dairy Queen located at the Phoenix Premium Outlet, she accidentally left her purse (no value) in the store. As she walked to her vehicle she noticed she did not have her purse and then returned to the store. A store employee stated they had found a purse but another female had claimed it. 

Status: Under Investigation

 

District Five (Casa Blanca):

Theft– The victim called dispatch to report a theft. Upon police contact the victim reported three pairs of women’s Ariat Boots and a Pendleton blanket were taken from the front of her residence. The victim stated there is video surveillance of the yard and would review the footage to assist in locating the suspect. At this time identification of the suspect is pending the review of footage.

District Six – (Komatke):

Theft– An unknown male removed a guitar out of a display case without permission from the Vee Quiva Casino. Vee Quiva Security contacted dispatch after observing the empty display case and reviewing surveillance camera footage. The suspect is observed leaving the Casino, entering a vehicle and leaving the premises. 

Status:  Under Investigation         

 

Theft– A Case Super “M” backhoe was reported stolen. The vehicle was left in the area due to being used for construction of the 202 Freeway. Upon receiving confirmation that no one from the company was in possession of the backhoe it was reported as stolen. 

Status:  Under Investigation

 

District Seven (Maricopa): 

Theft – The victim report an unknown person broke into his red Chevrolet pick up truck, and stole his 9mm handgun. The victim reported the firearm stolen between the 18th and 20th of December.

District One- (Blackwater):

Aggravated Assault– Officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to verbal altercation that was getting aggressive. Upon the officer arrival contact was made with the homeowner who stated the verbal argument was regarding family issues. The verbal altercation became physical when the suspect began to swing a pipe wrench at the victim causing lacerations to the left elbow and the lower lip. When the suspect was located and it was discovered they also had lacerations to the back of their head. 

Status:  Suspect was booked on Aggravated Assault 

 

District Two (Sacaton Flats):

No incidents involving Part 1 Crime

 

District Three (Sacaton):

Auto Theft – The victim reported a vehicle being stolen from their residence. The victim stated there was no debris on the carport where the vehicle was parked such as broken glass. The victim stated the vehicle was taken sometime during the night while they had been sleeping. The victim was advised the vehicle was involved in a collision in the area of District Five and had been recovered. 

Status: Closed

 

Auto Theft – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a vehicle that was taken from their residence. The investigation revealed that the suspect went to the residence asking for an individual, while the family was inside the residence; they heard the vehicle start and drive away. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. Officers were able to locate the vehicle at the Wild Horse Pass Casino Parking Lot where the suspect again attempted to flee. The suspect was arrested and booked into DRS for multiple offenses. 

Status: Suspect was booked into jail

 

Theft – The victim reported sometime between December 24, 2017 and December 28, 2017 prescription medication was removed from the victim’s purse. Residence of the home denied taking the medication and no one witnessed the theft. A person of interest had been identified and is being sought for questioning.

District Four (Stotonic Area):

Aggravated Assault – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a suicidal subject. Investigation revealed that the suspect committed the crime of aggravated assault by restricting the breathing of the victim to the point of losing consciousness. The suspect was bleeding heavily from a wound the suspect stated was sustained by having a medical issue and fell on an object. The victim went on to say that the suspect attempted to throw hot oil on the victim but the oil did not make contact with victim. The suspect was transported to the hospital for medical treatment to her injuries. Photos were taken and submitted into evidence.

District Four (Lone Butte Area): 

Auto Theft – Officers were dispatched to the Wildhorse Pass Casino in reference to an auto theft. Investigation revealed the victim left her vehicle running as she went into the casino for a few moments. As she exited the casino she noticed her vehicle was gone. The victim was able to locate her vehicle in the City of Maricopa with the assistance of GRPD and Maricopa PD. The vehicle was returned to her and was removed from the national stolen vehicle database.  

Status:  On Going Investigation

 

Auto Theft – The victim reported that a vehicle registered in their name was stolen while at the Lone Butte Casino. The victim stated she knew the suspect who had taken the vehicle. Surveillance footage will be obtained from casino personnel and submitted into evidence.

Theft (Shoplifting) – Officers were dispatched to the Phoenix Premium Outlet Coach Store in reference to a theft. A theft investigation was conducted, revealing a male stole a pair of running shoes while at Coach Store leaving in an unknown direction.

District Five (Casa Blanca):

Aggravated Assault – A juvenile male reported that while walking in an unknown location in District Four, he was approached by an intoxicated male and they began to fight. During the fight the juvenile male was cut on his shoulder.  

Status:  On Going Investigation

 

Aggravated Assault – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a prior assault. The investigation revealed the suspect engaged in an altercation with the victim by forcibly pushing her to the floor. The victim fell on her left side causing pain and discomfort and was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. A follow up was conducted where the victim reported she sustained a fracture in her left him and had been hospitalized. 

Status: On Going Investigation

                  

Theft– Officers were dispatched to the Casa Blanca Chevron in reference to shoplifting. The store employee stated a female juvenile walked into the store where she checked the mail in the adjoining post office. Upon checking the mail the female grabbed three bags of chips. The investigation revealed the identity of the female juvenile and the driver of the truck whom were located at their residence. The two went to the store and paid for the goods. 

Status:  Charges are being forwarded to the Prosecutors Office

 

District Six (Komatke):

Burglary – Officers responded to a residence where multiple items were taken when a male subject unlawfully entered the residence. A set of bike tracks were located near the home and a witness also gave a description of the vehicle to include the occupants of the vehicle. A follow up was conducted and the victim stated all the items were returned to the residence with the exception of the television.

District Seven (Maricopa):

Auto Theft– Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call. The vehicle’s owner was on scene and stated that his vehicle was taken the night before while he was intoxicated. The victim did not know who took it or what had happened the night before.
