Mul-Chu-Tha theme contest closes October 15

The Communications and Public Affairs Office is accepting theme submissions for the 57th Annual Mul-Chu-Tha Fair and Rodeo that will be held in March 2019. The theme contest will be open until October 15, 2018 at submissions can be emailed or hand delivered by 12 p.m.

 

Ideas for the theme should be limited to 15 words or less and should be an empowering positive message that highlights the legacy of the annual event held within the Gila River Indian Community.

 

The contest is available to all Community members, GRIC employees and employees from GRIC business entities.

Last year, a sous chef from the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass won the contest for his theme of “Honoring Our History and Everyday Heroes.” The prize for winning will be four movie ticket passes to Harkins Theaters, a family fair fun pack that includes four adult passes, two all-day ride wristbands and a VIP parking pass, as well as a reserved table at the Community BBQ and a gift card.

Submissions can be emailed to special.events@gric.nsn.us or hand delivered to the CPAO department in the Governance Center in Sacaton.
