August 25 - 31, 2019

Gila River Police officers responded to 625 calls for service and made 31 arrests.

Theft – Suspect(s) trespassed onto the victim’s property and stole a twenty-inch bicycle with a pink colored frame and white-colored tires. Upon discovering the missing property the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Burglary – Suspect(s) entered a fenced residential yard and stole the victim’s air compressor. Upon discovering the missing property the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Auto Theft – Suspect(s) trespassed onto the victim’s residential property and stole the victim’s 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. Upon discovering the missing property the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Auto Theft – Suspect(s) trespassed onto the victim’s residential property and stole the victim’s 1990 Nissan Maxima. Upon discovering the missing property the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

District Two – (Sacaton Flats)

Theft – The suspect removed money from the victim’s wallet without the victim’s permission. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Charges forwarded

 

District Three- (Sacaton)

Aggravated Assault – Suspect threatened and approached the victim with scissors in a threatening manner placing him in fear of being stabbed. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Charges forwarded      

 

Theft – Suspect(s) stole the victim’s tablet from her residence approximately three months prior to reporting. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Theft – Suspect left the victim on side of the road and leaving the area with the victim’s belongings in his vehicle. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. The victim was not injured during this incident.

District Four-

Stotonic Area –

Aggravated Assault – The suspect and victim(s) were involved in a verbal domestic altercation that escalated and became physical. The suspect assaulted two female family members by punching and kicking both females about the face area causing minor and major injuries. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. Gila River Emergency Medical Services responded to treat the victims. Both victims were transported to a local trauma hospital for further medical treatment.

Status: Suspect was arrested and booked into the Gila River Department of Rehabilitation and Supervision.

 

Lone Butte Area

 

Shoplifting – The suspect was observed exiting the store bypassing the point of sale wearing a white shirt he had not paid for. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. Suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

Status: Under investigation

 

Shoplifting – Suspect(s) entered the store and stole 2 cases of beer and fled the scene in a vehicle. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Shoplifting – The suspect entered the store, and stole two cans of beer without paying. The female refused to remain on scene and fled the scene on foot. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Theft – Suspect(s) stole the victim’s rose gold iPhone 8+ while she was attending a function at Rawhide. Upon discovering her cell phone missing the victim notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Theft – The suspect stole a purse belonging to the victim from a gaming machine while at Lone Butte Casino and then fled the property on foot. Casino Security notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Theft – The suspect fueled up at the Love’s gas station and left without paying for the fuel. Employees notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

District Five- (Casa Blanca)

Theft – A juvenile suspect ran away from home and in the process took with him shoes and a stereo that belonged to the victim. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Charges forwarded

 

District Six – (Komatke)

Aggravated Assault - The suspect and victim(s) were involved in a verbal domestic altercation that escalated and became physical. The suspect struck the victim with a metal object causing injury to her person. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.  Gila River Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to a local trauma hospital for further medical treatment.

Status: Charges forwarded 

 

Aggravated Assault – The suspect held the victim against his own will, assaulted and strangled the victim. Law enforcement was notified by a third party and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate. Gila River Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to a local trauma hospital for further medical treatment.

Status: Suspect was arrested and custody handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

 

Theft – Suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle, while it was parked in a parking garage, without permission and stole several items. Upon discovering the missing property the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Theft – Suspect(s) stole two batteries from a construction site. Upon discovering the missing property, employees notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Auto Theft – The suspect used a key to enter the victim’s vehicle, parked in a parking garage, and drive off casino property. Upon discovering her vehicle missing, the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Theft – The suspect forced entry into a parked vehicle, stole the car stereo and damaged the steering column. Casino security notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. Status: Charges forwarded

Theft – Suspect(s) stole the victim’s firearm from his residence while they were staying at the residence. Upon discovering his property missing, the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Theft – Suspect(s) forced entry into the victim’s vehicle by pushing down a car window. The suspect(s) stole a purse and cell phone, belonging to the victim, from the vehicle. Upon discovering the damage to her vehicle and missing items’ the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Under investigation

 

Burglary – Suspect(s) broke into a storage shed and stole items from within belonging to the victim. Upon discovering the damage and missing items’ the victim notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Lone Butte Area

 

Shoplifting – The suspect entered a store, concealed merchandise and then fled past the point of sale without paying for the items. Employees notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

Auto Theft – Suspect(s) stole the victim’s 2002 White Ford F350 from the Wild Horse Pass Casino parking lot. Casino Security notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

District Five – (Casa Blanca)

Robbery – Suspect entered the victim’s home, assaulted him and stole his wallet. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. Gila River Emergency Medical Services responded, medically evaluated and treated the victim’s non-life threatening injuries.

District Six – (Komatke)

Burglary – Suspect(s) stole the victim’s 2008 Chrysler 300 while vehicle was parked at the Vee Quiva Casino parking lot. Casino Security notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

Status: Under investigation

 

Theft – Suspect(s) stole a television from the District 6 Service Center. Security notified law enforcement and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival. Security staff identified the alleged suspect to officers.

Status: Charges forwarded

 

Theft – Suspect took the victim’s Samsung Galaxy Tablet without permission from the victim’s home. The tablet was not returned and the suspect admitted to leaving it in the vehicle of an unknown person. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Status: Suspect was arrested.

 

Theft – Suspect(s) trespassed on a construction site and stole construction equipment. Employees arrived to the site the following morning to find the items missing and notified law enforcement. Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate the incident.

Theft – The suspect stole an inner tube belonging to the victim from in front of their residential carport. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River Police Officers responded to investigate,
