Gila River Police officers responded to 653 calls for service and made 36 arrests. District One- (Blackwater)
Robbery – Suspects approached the victim, while he was speaking to his sister in the front yard of their residence, and began assaulting him. During the assault, the victim fell to the ground and the suspects reached into his pocket and removed the keys to his vehicle. The suspects got into the victim’s vehicle and drove away. The victim notified law enforcement one week after the fact and Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident.

District Two – (Sacaton Flats)

District Three- (Sacaton)
Theft – Suspects entered the victim’s room, located inside the Caring House, and took money without the victim’s knowledge or permission. Upon discovering the theft, the victim notified law enforcement and Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident.

Stotonic Area –
Aggravated Assault – The suspect and victim were in a verbal domestic altercation when it escalated. The suspect struck the victim with a shovel and fled the area. Law enforcement was notified and Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident. Gila River Emergency Medical Services responded to treat the victim’s non-life threatening injuries.
Status: The suspect was located and arrested.
Lone Butte Area
Burglary – Suspect(s) forced entry into a store and stole various consumable goods and money from a register drawer. Store employees notified law enforcement. Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident.
Status: Under investigation
Shoplifting – The suspect entered the outlet store, concealed several items and then left past the point of sale without paying for the merchandise. Employees notified law enforcement and Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival.

Shoplifting – Suspect entered the store, concealed merchandise on his person, and left without paying for the items. Employees notified law enforcement and Gila River police officers responded to investigate the incident. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
