GRIC students participate in annual Diamondbacks STEM Showcase

Sacaton Middle School Robotics club students came out to Chase Field to participate in the annual Diamondbacks STEM showcase parade on Sept. 22.

With the Gila River Indian Community flag and signs showing their school pride, the SMS robotics club students were out in full-force to support the STEM activities at their school.

The troupe of students joined the 2,000 other students from around the state of Arizona to commemorate the special evening, as they walked along the warning track of the ball-field, with parents and teachers.

Each student, who participated, received a “Science of Baseball” t-shirt to show their enthusiasm for science, technology, arts and mathematics.
