The Gila River Royalty 2025-2026 celebrated their reign with a special dinner among family and friends followed by a waila dance open to the public and the Community, with live music from Gertie & the T.O. Boyz at the Huhugam Heritage Center on Feb. 21.

Miss Gila River Gabrielle Garcia, First Attendant Virgina Rossel, Jr. Miss Gila River Paige Thomas and First Attendant Peyton Thomas shared words of gratitude for family and friends and featured remarks from Gov. Stephen Roe Lewis.

Garcia and Thomas each spoke before their guests and presented gifts to family and friends.

Gov. Lewis congratulated the Gila River Royalty court on their reign and thanked their families for their continued support and encouragement.
